Lutfi Jakfar’s Sixth Trio is born from the cross-border collaboration between the drummer, Lufti Jakfar, and the double bass player, Juanma Domínguez. Accompanied by Jorge Fernández on the piano, the trio brings Jazz ranging from the popular classics to the European avant garde.
Their repertoire includes a selection of their own proposals, classic numbers and traditional music adaptations. Skilled at reinterpreting famous tunes taking them into unknown territories, the Sixth Trio strives to achieve balance between its members, finding creativity every step of the way.
