Eneko Dieguez Quartet is a group formed in 2021, comprising four young musicians with similar musical concerns. Since then, they have been very active on the Jazz scene in the Basque country and environs. The group’s style is very personal, its repertoire incorporates original compositions into modern Jazz, but with many other influences, such as hip-hop, 20th century classical music or Basque folklore.
In their live performances, they strive for very diverse landscapes and can easily move from a very intimate and delicate atmosphere to something very intense and with a lot of energy, thereby making every performance a unique experience. Recently participated in the prestigious “Keep an Eye” competition in Amsterdam, where Eneko Dieguez won the Best Non-CvA Soloist prize. Also participated in the Jazzon Aretoa “Impulso” Residency in 2024, where they are going to make their first record.
