About JazzEñe

JazzEñe is a SGAE Foundation programme created to internationally showcase the jazz produced in Spain, to encourage the participation of jazz bands in festivals, promote international tours for members of the SGAE and foster meetings and the exchange of experiences and knowledge between professionals in the sector (authors, artists, managers, programmers, festival directors, record companies, etc.) from here and the rest of the world.

Following its first edition, held in Madrid in 2014, the event moved to the city of Valencia and later to Zaragoza and Málaga. Now in its tenth edition, this showcase bringing the reality of Spanish jazz to the audience and directors of European festivals will take place for the fourth consecutive year at the San Sebastián Festival, which, in its 59th edition, represents one of the great bastions of jazz not only in Spain, but also in Europe and the rest of the world.

Over these years, numerous artists have performed their repertoires at festivals throughout Europe thanks to the SGAE Foundation’s Eñe programmes.
