SYNOPSIS

The story of the famous guitarist and composer Django Reinhardt, the first European jazz musician to become as influential as the great American artists. The film also focuses on his flight from Paris in 1943 because of the German occupation. The artist’s family were pursued and harassed by the Nazis owing to their gypsy heritage.
