Marc Tambourindeguy, pianist and frontman of MT4, is a lover of melodies. He proves it, once again, bringing a new album, Vent du Sud (2023), composed with the heart of a musician displaying a passion for beautiful harmonies and the spirit of a jazzhead tuned into today’s piano trends.

For this project, the pianist and composer from Anglet has called on the best musicians of his native region who, like himself, have chosen not to give in to the allure of the siren’s song wafting from the capital but to continue living and making their work in the French Basque Country.

Their most outstanding influences are artists including Avishai Cohen, Shai Maestro, Pat Metheny, Tigran Hamasyan, Brad Mehldau and Daniel García Diego.
