The North American singer, who previously gave two marvellous concerts at the San Sebastian Jazz Festival in 2018, returns to Jazzaldia with a concert in Chillida Leku on the 18th and another in the Trinitate Plaza Keler on the 21st.
The singer and composer, accompanied by the pianist Sullivan Fortner, will present her newest release: The Window. On this album, the two musicians explore and extend the tradition of the piano-vocal duo and its expressive possibilities, playing freely with time, harmony, melody and phrasing.
