Miguel Martin, director of the Jazzaldia, gives us a review of the festival’s first-day schedule:
Today the 57th San Sebastian Jazz Festival kicks off with two concerts.
The Ukrainian pianist Vadim Neselovskyi will perform at 19:00 in Chillida Leku. This is a benefit concert whose proceeds will go to the Chernobil Elkartea to help the people of Ukraine.
The Scottish group Simple Minds will give a concert at 21:30 on the Keler Gunea stage. This will be the first of the 9 concerts running on the Keler Gunea beach stage, all of which are free.
