The group from Pamplona, El Columpio Asesino , have decided the time has come to end a career spanning more than two decades at the forefront of avant-garde and alternative music in Spain as one of the most influential pop bands. Their music has crossed borders, with a huge fanbase reaching across the pond, especially to Mexico, where the band has performed on numerous occasions.

Their compositions encompass genres ranging from the German kraut rock of the 1960s, to the post punk of the late 70s, including electronic music and their more eclectic sounds of recent years. Their lyrics include profoundly existentialist numbers that reflect their raw and disgruntled take on the reality of the world around them.

El Columpio Asesino has decided to say their goodbye on stage, celebrating and reminding us with a live performance of our moments spent with their songs down through the years. In their own words “We can only end the best way we know how to: with a farewell tour in the shape of a concert taking a look back over our songs. That’s why we invite you to come and see us one last time. To burn the night. Sweat the night. Love in the night.”
