Euskorleans, the project merging Basque music and dance with New Orleans brass bands and Jazz, will take to the streets of the city on 20 July, eve of the official Festival opening
The project born from the collaboration between Kukai Dantza and the musician L.M. Moreno, aka “Pirata”, will offer a fun and festive celebration, a foretaste to welcome the 58th Jazzaldia.
They will stop four times on their route: the Sagües esplanade, the Kursaal (beside the entrance to the car park), the Boulevard Music Stand and beside the Náutico yacht club. Euskorleans will kick off at 19:00 from Sagües, pausing at each stop to perform 20-25 minute dance routines accompanied by the band.
