Launch of concerts by local groups to select those who will perform at the 57th Jazzaldia

The process to select the ten local groups who will play at the 57th Jazzaldia, from 21-25 July 2022, will kick off with the first of the 15 performances before an audience from which the final list will be drawn up.

This selection is especially backed by Gipuzkoa Provincial Council as part of the Katapulta Tour Gipuzkoa circuit to promote young local talents in the field of music and the performing arts while fostering the Gipuzkoa scene by providing support to clubs and organisers.

The performance venues are the Kutxa Kultur Kluba (in Tabakalera) and the Club Victoria Eugenia:

- Kutxa Kultur Kluba: tickets available from www.kutxakultur.eus. €3 for early purchases, and €5 from the ticket desk.
– Club Victoria Eugenia: free entry while places last. However, an invitation must be collected from the Victoria Eugenia Theatre ticket desk on the same day of the concert, from 17:00 onwards.

Based on the recordings submitted by the 41 entries received this year, the Jazzaldia organisers have selected the 15 bands who will perform in San Sebastian between January and March. Following all of the live performances, and consideration of their artistic quality and audience reaction, the organisers will select the final 10 groups to be included in the 57th Jazzaldia programme.
